I didn’t dream of a life in advertising. When I was growing up, I knew I was going to be the next Spielberg or Lucas. After film school, I settled down into the usual path of writing my screenplay and taking whatever lowly jobs could get me close to the Hollywood decision makers. But a funny thing happened. I notice that my friends who went into advertising were actually doing creative work. They were writing, designing, even making commercials. And they had Mad-Menian lives full of expense accounts, meetings and office parties.

So I decided to take a detour into the advertising world. It wasn’t permanent. Just a year or two until my project was green-lit. I could always leave.

Years later, I’m still here. And honestly, I’ve grown to love it.

But if the person reading this happens to be a producer, I have a script you absolutely have to read.
